Dear Friends, Welcome to Bert's Corner, a place of curio! The name gives a wrong conception (of the store being on a corner) and it does not give a clue as to the type of store that it is. Did you look under the chair? Sniff the candles, try the lotions, and laugh with your girlfriends Have you decided to visit me yet? Bert’s Corner has grown from a corner of a room to my corner of the world! I am Grammy Bert who carries a balanced mix of depression era to current trendy delights. The Corner is an excellent place to shop for anything from home décor to collectibles or a gift. Sparkly crystal holds my heart, but anything out of the ordinary catches this Grammy’s imagination. The name evolved because I started out (circa 1999) in the corner of a room in a friends establishment – thus friends started referring to it as Bert’s Corner. In 2003, I moved to a small store front of my own, and in January 2006 I was able to move to a larger store front in the middle of the block of Main Street, Ironton. Now, the misconception of the name Bert! I am a grandmother. I’m not bragging, much, but I believe you will find Bert’s Corner to be a classy store full of beautiful dishes, teas, doilies, berry wreaths & swags, dichroic jewelry, costume jewelry, & hand constructed cottage furniture artfully arranged for your pleasure. Who knows what treasure I may have found before you visit Bert’s Corner! Talk with me about this letter and I will give you a Tea Forte or a votive candle.
